Who am I?

Hi~ I’m Yueyan Li from China. I’m now at the Center of Intelligence Science and Technology (CIST), BUPT. My research focuses on natural language processing and multimodal information processing. I’m also interested in interpretability for neural networks and cognitive science. Now I’m working on interpretability for VLMs, and unified multimodal models.

Except from my research area, I’m also interested in communication engineering 📻 which was my major when I was an undergraduate. If you like that, feel free to share something interesting together~
Apart from technologies, I’m a lover for nature. I like the mountains, the rivers, the forests…if you like hiking outdoors, don’t forget me! Also, I’m a Bboy✌️🤘. If you like breaking or any kind of street dance, just call me👋!

About my nickname

I use the name Sirius/Sirius Jr./siriuslala… everywhere on the Internet. This originates from Sirius Black - my favourite character in the Harry Potter series.
He is not only an extraodinary wizard with wild and intractable appearence but also the godfather of Harry Potter - the only family alive for Harry who had brought him warmth that is hard to replace. That’s why I admire him.
